| AWESOME Morning! Anyone that was at our Contemporary service today was truly BLESSED by the changes in the Worship Team today. To have Jake Tippetts and his band (Jacob Merlin) leading us was amazing. I heard Becky invite him back to lead again when Karin will be out of town. As amazing as it was, I found myself really wishing that Mark would have been there in the flesh to experience it. It would have made him smile, laugh, jump and DANCE!
Several weeks ago, a friend told me that her take on Heaven was that once we die and enter that glorious place, we don't look back for we would not be happy to see how our loved ones are dealing w/ us being gone and such. Heaven would not be so glorious so the Lord looks down and takes care of us. I would hope that today, just for a little while, Mark was looking down on us, dancing and smiling and JUMPING for Joy with those arms flailing by his side PRAISING GOD....knowing that Becky and the Worship Team were shakin' things up a bit by having Jacob Merlin w/ us. |
