It's so appropriate ...
I hate running into old friends that don't know my late husband has died and they ask how he is. It makes them feel horrible when they find out, as if it's their fault. It just happened again, it's been 3 1/2 years, you'd think everyone knew, you'd think it gets easier for me when it happens...but it doesn't and I'm in tears now ... agh!
